I am so in love with maxi dresses I feel like they are the most comfortable clothing in my wardrobe, I love how simple these dresses are but you can dress it up by adding belts and jewellery maybe throwing a oversize quarter jumper on top to give a different look.

I have also been seeing maxi skirts which great with a vest top with a little cardigan or could be worn with a jumper, shirt, t-shirt. It’s a versatile piece of clothing.

I would never thought I be into the full-length look in skirts and dresses but I just feel they look stunning on they allow you to hide areas of your body that you may not like, they also I feel shape you body well. Below is a picture of me wearing a maxi dress but as a maxi skirt.

This Brown Maxi dress was bought from peacocks but it was bought about 4 years but know I am using it as a maxi skirt.
The brown cardigan again was bought a couple of years ago but was bought from new look just wanted to show how the outfit would look on.

H&M

Hey, so I went into H&M yesterday looking for a few bits and I got overly happy with what they got on offer. They have some really great pieces out. Its defo worth having a look for some nice summer/holiday pieces I will be going back in June to get my holiday bits. I was shocked at the prices as well ranging from £3.99-19.99 for some of items you would expect to be paying a bit more in other shops.

 The grey v neck jumper was £7.99, the black mini skirt £3.99 I am also wearing a grey vest top underneath for £2.99 all from H&M they stock small, medium, large, but they do also do a few bigger sizes in their plus size range.

Dorothy Perkins dresses

Hey all here are a few dresses from Dorothy Perkins (DP) that I would wear my self. Before I mentioned that I feel that DP has gone down in the quality of clothing they are producing not only that but they don’t seem to have much on offer. I would suggest that you take a look on their website (www.dorothyperkins.com ) because I was shocked on how much they actually do sell. I feel that the stores need to a total revamp because it’s not a true representation on what they do have.

This chocolate feather frill dress is currently in sell in Dp but the largest size they have is size 16. This dress is ideal for a bbq wearing it brown sandals would look fab. I would also team it with big gold hoop earrings.










This is a coffee scallop collar dress, on the website they have sizes 8-22 in stock price £33, with this dress if wearing it to work I would match it with black tights and flat shoes.

I LOVE this denim pintuck smock dress, it just nice simple everyday dress, with this dress I would try to a bit different and wear it with brown ankle flat boots and oversized brown bag. This dress is £35 and in sizes 6-20.

Example of brown ankle boots i really do believe this is the season to be different to be able to set our own trends and fashion looks.

I am about to eat my words! I previously said that stripes are not for me; because they make me look bigger then I am well i am going to retract from that because I am seeing more and more stripes that are complementing my body shape. Why you ask? This is because we are moving away for the traditional black and white, blue and white, grey and white and moving to colour stripes which for me is great because I feel personally feel colours just makes a big difference.
