Jackets

Asos
I am going to start with the sizes 6-18 ranges

Here is a prime example of a jacket that is overly priced for which reason I don’t know sorry for me if I am going to pay £200 I would want a jacket to fit perfectly I mean perfectly that jacket should look like it was made for me. I just don’t see how this Penfield down filled shearing collar jacket does that. To me this jacket just looks like any other puffer jacket nothing, nothing less. A jacket is a vital part of anyone wardrobe and this jacket for if I had to mark just on looks and price alone I would give in 3.5 out of ten.

I actually love parka jackets always have this parka is made by warehouse, I do like this parka maybe because I think it fits the model well, I think this type jacket is good because it will wear well with all clothing in your wardrobe, from party pieces to work clothes. This jacket priced at £80.

Vila vintage style belted coat I actually really love this jacket yes it’s a statement piece but for me it also has that wow factor. If I had to I would mark this jacket 8/10. I am absolutely in love with it.

For my curvy ladies, I am fully aware that finding a jacket that is nice, that fit well and makes you feel super comfortable is hard at times just because the jackets that are on offer mostly black , blue, grey, and sometimes white and they tend to just look like a rain cover. I am hearing you say I want a fitted jacket. Well just look at these 3 beauties that I have found in the ASOS curve range sizes in this range is 20-26 but I would say for the ladies that are size 18 please still take a look because as we are all aware with jackets a lot come up smaller the size printed.

This chestnut fit and flare coat is £90 but I would happily spend this money on a jacket like this, to me the jacket looks like it will fit and look great on all sizes and shapes, I am loving this wide belt with the jacket I am not normally a fan of jackets with belts but this one works so well. If I was to mark it I will defo give it 10/10 with no question of doubt.

ASOS curve belted quilted coat £80 I like this jacket I am just not in love with it, maybe because I tend not to but or look at quilted/puff jackets just because I don’t feel it suits me. I can’t say anything bad or good for this jacket because it’s just a ok jacket for me.

This Asos curve Oviod coat in black and orange, this is defo a wow factor jacket I must admit I am very much tempted by it, for me personally I would not use this jacket as my everyday jacket I will leave it for when I am going out or special occasions just because it has that wow factor for me. this jacket is currently on sale for £80 was a £100

personal note

So at the moment I am into all shades of browns, yellows, and oranges maybe because we are in November and the weather is still good well its not snowing so I am refusing to sort through my winter wardrobe just yet. I am also loving that I am moving away from only buy black I am loving colours.

Have any of you gone shopping lately? I can not be the only one that is really happy with the clothing being put out. I am practically shocked the quality of clothing primark is producing I can honestly say that they going neck to neck with shops like Top shop and New look.

So I was getting little disappointed with new look because just seemed like the was not trying to give that wow factor for me the clothes was becoming boring predictable, for me they are doing a little better in their plus size range but still can do a lot more.

So I recently order two jackets from H%M and I am patiently awaiting the arrival of these jackets I find buying jackets so hard because I want jacket that fits and looks nice but I refuse to be paying over a £100 jacket, that to me don’t have that wow factor.

hey all

Hey all,
So firstly I have to apologise for the lack of blogs in the last two months, part of it was that I was busy but also it was me being lazy.

So the last time I blog I started to change the blog to cater for all sizes, and I have spoken to some people and they don’t think it’s a good idea because there are lot of blogs on smaller size fashion. I am thankful that my blog is read and needed but I still feel that I can cater for all, and remember I am trying to show all aspect of fashion. I don’t want my lovely curvy ladies to feel that I am not catering for them anymore because I am I just thought I will open it to all, as I love fashion.

So I am currently really excited about the prospect of taking up a sewing course in January, I am highly excited about this as I would love to make my own clothing, I love the idea of mixing two design together and making the perfect dress.

Love to you all xxxxxxxx

hey all

I am a very happy bunny today, why you all ask is because of the great sales that are going on at the moment. I mostly love Dorothy Perkins, I seen so many items I want to get. So please take a look on their website, as they offer more variety on their rather then go into the stores. New look has disappointed me in general the last couple of months because they have NO clothing that I would want to get  at the present time and its seems like they not getting new stock.

I am liking Asos but do find for some items in the curve range to be over priced but again I would say that they do offer great value for money, so it’s also worth taking on their website.

Evans doing a 50% sale on shoes, if you’re like me that needs a wider fitting with shoes, it’s definitely worth taking a look. They have some lovely pairs of Wellington boots,  I have just ordered the blue poko dots ones, winter is among us so please invest in a pair of Wellingtons.

So I have not been in Primark for a while so I can’t comment on what they have in stock, within the next couple of weeks will be going in their. I am hoping that this winter they are going to be doing more jumper dresses, I bought a lovely purple one from their last winter wishing I had bought it in black as well.

So I have been looking in Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys and I am pleasantly surprise on what they have on offer. Why is it we turn our noses down at these stores but will shop in the markets? Don’t be ashamed to take a look through their clothing you be surprised what they have to offer.

ladies with love. xxxxxxxx

So I thought I share two outfits that I have worn in the last month that I love. I think their nothing sexier, beautiful then wearing an outfit that you feel totally comfortable in. I said before your body is not made for fashion, but its fashion that is made for your body, so keep on trying new things find what complements your body shape and size. Before I would never wear a jumpsuit I thought it never complemented me at all, but this summer i have really got into them. As for me wearing a white dress before this would have been a total NO NO but both items of clothing i think are absolutely stunning.

This Jumpsuit is from Primark and was £9 I love it I accessorised it with a junky gold necklace, gold bangles and gold sandals. Ladies if I had to grade this outfit it would be 10/10 they have sizes 6-22 in this jumpsuit

This white dress is from Dorothy Perkins, when i first saw this dress I was not in love with it I actually walk pass it twice, because I never wear white i just didn't feel like white suited me so I always tended to avoid it. I love this dress I like the way it fits around the bust area and then flares out. When i wore this dress I wore gold accessorises and flat gold sandals, also have worn this dress with nude colour wedges.
Again marks 10/10

DATE OUTFITS

I was recently asked what to wear on a first date, its always that thing do I get dressed up, do I go casual its question we have and will ask ourselves.

I think the best solution is dress for the occasion for example if you know where your going dress for it.

Two examples:

If your going to the cinemas and maybe a bit to eat for argument sakes lets say nandos then I suggest you wear a casual outfit maybe peg trousers and nice blouse with  a pair of pumps and then accessorise the outfit with chunky jewellery

I am love love LOVING this orange beaded blouse from Asos, I think it’s a stunning item to have in your wardrobe.

If you’re going for meal in a restaurant down west end then I would say dress up a bit but keep it practical. Meaning if you can’t wear the heels wears flats. Yes I know allot of you are saying are you mad no I am not, think about what is going to be worse wearing flats and being comfortable and enjoying the evening of wearing heels and thinking how are you going to be able to walk in these shoes. Ladies there is nothing with walking with a pair of flats, to change into.

I love this blue dress from Dorothy Perkins I would remove the belt and team it with a vibrant red belt and also match it with red shoes. I think I am really getting into my colours and the mixing of them.

Going out outfits for all sizes from Asos

This Asos exclusive pencil dress wit cape detail, I love this dress I think because I love a pencil skirts why this dress works for me. You can where it to work and dress it up as well for a night out. Ladies remember I say that never get lost in an outfit make it your own. I would defo wear this with a platform heels round toe to complete this outfit. This is from the Asos curve range. Price £35

Also the detail in this dress is stunning.

For my smaller ladies this mini pussybow shirt dress with shirred cuffs is in sizes 6-18. I am really getting into colour at the moment; I feel this orange dress is such a statement dress I love love it. Also I feel that colour really brings out ladies features we tend to buy darker colours because it a safer bet lets be more daring and try different colours. Price of dress £35

So I have recently purchased this Slash back dress and I love it I shall be wearing it on Saturday night. This dress for me is sexy I love it I love the detail at the back of the dress. I will be taking a picture of the complete look on Saturday but this is how I am planning on wearing it, because at the back of the dress is slashed I am going to wear a pink bra because your bra does show be a little funky and team it up, I am going to be getting pink shoes to match it. This dress is currently n sale for £20 from Asos
curve range.
Picture to come next week.

I do love this black bodycon slash back dress. I feel like these bodycon dresses allow for you figure to show it hugs in all the write places, like the curve range I like the slash cut at the back of the dress. This dress £20 sizes 6-18
One thing I would say this dress is not for those who do not like showing their back as allot is on show.

Ok so this Jersey dress with cowl neck, I am not in love with it, I like but I don't have that wow factor I think because I would need to see this dress on someone and see how it is completely dressed up. I do like it but I don't think this dress is for everyone. This dress is £35

For the smaller ladies this drape cowl back strap detail dress is £25. What can I say about this dress, again from me I like it but don't love it. It is again a great buy and the detail at the back is lovely, I promise you if you dress this dress up with accessorise and a stunning pair of shoes it will turn from a simple dress to a WOW factor dress.
